Nils Bergman VIPsAllowed - Really solid port for the money
8/10

Picked this up after the guy at the wine shop recommended it. Loads of dried fruit on the nose and a nice nutty thing going on. It's not cheap at £46 but for a 2005 colheita it's actually pretty fair.

Adaobi Eze VIPsAllowed - Dad loved it for his birthday
8/10

Bought this for my dad's 60th because he's really into port. He said the dried fruit and spice were spot on and that the finish goes on forever. He's not easy to impress so I'll take that as a win. Would recommend as a gift.

Natalie Ford VIPsAllowed - Proper treat after a long week
8/10

I don't know loads about port but I know what I like, and this is lovely. Really warming and smooth, no burn at all even though it's 20%. The nutty flavour is my favourite part. Nice one to pour yourself on a Friday night.

Sophie Brennan VIPsAllowed - Bit pricey but decent
7/10

Saw this on a restaurant menu and looked it up afterwards to buy a bottle. It's good — the acidity keeps it from being too sweet and there's a nice spiced warmth to it. Just wish it was closer to £35, that would make it a no-brainer.

Annika Svensson VIPsAllowed - Good but not blow-your-mind good
7/10

It's a nice port, don't get me wrong. Warm spice, dried fruit, smooth finish. But at nearly £50 I was hoping for something a bit more special. I've had tawnies at half the price that got close to this.

Idris Ibrahim VIPsAllowed - Christmas cracker
9/10

Got this as a Christmas present from my father-in-law and honestly it's one of the best ports I've had. The dried fruit and spice flavours are gorgeous, and it's dangerously smooth for 20%. Went back and bought another bottle for myself.

Derek Chang VIPsAllowed - Stole the show at our dinner party
9/10

Brought this out after dinner with some stilton and it absolutely stole the show. Everyone kept going back for more. The warmth at the end is so gentle and it just keeps giving you more flavours as it opens up. Will definitely be buying again.
