View All (6)Someone brought this to a dinner party and I gave it a fair go. It's aromatic for sure and the structure is better than I expected, but it's just too sweet for my taste. If you like drier reds this probably isn't for you. The price is fair though.
25 March 2026My Scottish flatmate convinced me to try this with an open mind and honestly? The mid-palate has way more depth than I expected. It's sweet but not cloyingly so, and at 14% it does the job. Would I buy it again? Maybe on a cold night in.
4 March 2026Bought a bottle for a laugh at a mate's birthday and we were all genuinely surprised. There's actual fruit flavour in there and it doesn't just taste like cough syrup like everyone says. At £10.75 it's not bad at all — the finish is clean and it's got more going on than most cheap reds I've had.
