Saw this on a restaurant menu and liked it enough to track down a bottle for home. It's clean, balanced, does everything right. Not the most exciting wine I've ever had but I keep coming back to it which says something.

Yasmine Najjar - Bit pricey for what it is

Nice enough wine but I reckon you can get similar quality for £20. The fruit is pleasant and it's well balanced sure, but it didn't blow me away the way I expected at this price point. Would drink it again if someone else was buying.

Devon Marsh - Good not great

Decent chardonnay but I've had better for the money. It's clean and well made, no complaints there, but at over £30 I was expecting to be a bit more wowed. My partner liked it more than I did so maybe it's just me.

Mei-Lin Wu - Lovely with seafood

Had this with grilled prawns at a friend's dinner party and it was a great match. Nice fruit, good acidity, nothing too heavy at 12%. Would happily buy again but probably wouldn't pay full price — waited for an offer.

Grabbed this on a whim from the wine shop and honestly really impressed. For around thirty quid you're getting something that tastes way more serious than it should. Light and crisp but there's proper depth there too — kept finding new things in the glass as it opened up.

Oscar Delgado - Australian chardonnay at its best

I don't usually go for chardonnay but this completely changed my mind. So precise and fresh, nothing like those big oaky ones I used to avoid. Genuinely one of the best whites I've had this year. Yes it's £30 but honestly worth every penny.

Brought this to a dinner party and everyone commented on it. It's got that thing where it's interesting enough for the wine nerds but easy enough that everyone enjoys it. The low alcohol is a bonus when you're on your third glass.

My wife got me this for my birthday after the guy at our local recommended it. Really elegant without being boring — the finish just goes on and on. Already planning to order a couple more for the summer.
