Decent port for the price. Got that classic berry and spice thing going on and it's smooth enough to sip on its own. Nothing that's going to blow your mind but honestly for sixteen quid you can't complain.

Picked this up for Christmas dinner and it went down a treat. Really rich dark fruit flavours, plum and fig especially. Sweet but not sickly which is what I want from a port. At £16 it's a solid buy, will definitely grab another bottle.

I've been slowly getting into port over the last year and this is a good one to have on hand. Nice depth to it — starts with dark berry fruit and then you get more complexity as you sit with it. The acidity keeps it from being too heavy. Taylor's clearly know what they're doing.

We had this with a stilton after a Sunday roast and honestly it was brilliant. There's a lovely spiced cake sort of warmth to it and the dried fig notes really come through. The finish is clean and doesn't hang around too long. Would buy again without thinking twice.

My mate recommended Taylor's so I gave this a go. It's fine — nice plummy flavours and warming at 20% which you can definitely feel. Personally I found it a touch too sweet for my taste but my wife loved it so not a total loss.
