Gianluca Ferro VIPsAllowed - Perfect after-dinner drink
8/10

Bought this as a gift for my dad's birthday and he insisted we open it straight away. Really rich dark fruit flavours, loads of blackberry and chocolate. Sweet but not sickly which is what I usually worry about with port. Will definitely grab another bottle at that price.

7/10

Had this after Christmas dinner and it went down really well. You get that classic dark cherry and plum thing going on, and it's smooth enough that even my wife who doesn't usually like port enjoyed it. £19 feels about right for what you're getting.

Liam Anderson VIPsAllowed - Taylor's never let me down
8/10

Been buying Taylor's LBV for years and the 2019 is another winner. Proper dark brooding port with dried plum and cherry fruit, and there's a herby savoury thing in there too that keeps it interesting. Brilliant with dark chocolate after dinner. At under £20 this is genuinely hard to beat.

Emily Thomas VIPsAllowed - Nice but not blown away
6/10

It's a decent port, don't get me wrong. Dark fruit, bit of chocolate on the end, all perfectly fine. But for nearly £20 I was expecting something a bit more special. Might just be that I've been spoiled by some of the older vintage ones.

Elena Morozova VIPsAllowed - Good gift box option
7/10

Picked this up as a last-minute present and the gift box makes it look way more impressive than the price tag. The port itself is really nice — dark and fruity with a clean finish that doesn't leave you with that sticky feeling. Not the most complex thing I've ever had but it does the job well.

Nia Okafor VIPsAllowed - Great with cheese
8/10

The guy in the wine shop recommended this to go with a stilton and honestly what a combo. It's got this lovely warmth to it without being boozy, even though it's 20%. The spicy notes really come through when you have it with strong cheese. Already on my second bottle.

Tomas Rivera VIPsAllowed - Bit sweet for me
5/10

I'm more of a dry red person usually and my mate convinced me to try this. It's well made and I can taste the blackcurrant and dark chocolate everyone talks about, but it's just a touch too sweet for my taste. The finish is nice though, I'll give it that.
