Idris Ibrahim VIPsAllowed - Maybe I just don't get port
6/10

My wife loves port and raved about this one but honestly at 20% it's a bit strong for me. I can tell it's quality and the flavours are interesting but I kept wanting to add ice which apparently is a crime. Probably one for serious port fans rather than casual drinkers like me.

Erik Strom VIPsAllowed - Lovely after dinner
8/10

The guy at my local wine shop recommended this when I said I wanted something for after Christmas dinner. He wasn't wrong — it's got a lovely depth to it and the sweetness isn't overpowering at all. Would definitely get again for a special occasion.

Devon Marsh VIPsAllowed - Good but not £80 good
7/10

It's a nice port, don't get me wrong. Smells fantastic and there's a lot going on flavour-wise. But eighty quid is a lot of money and I've had ports at half the price that I've enjoyed just as much. One for the port enthusiasts I think.

Sophia Laurent VIPsAllowed - Tried it at a restaurant, had to track it down
8/10

Had a glass of this at a restaurant last month and spent the next week trying to find a bottle. The aromatics are incredible — you can tell it's had proper time to develop. Pricey but it's the kind of thing you savour over several evenings so it works out.

Isabella Rossi VIPsAllowed - This is what port should taste like
9/10

I've been slowly getting into port over the last couple of years and this Taylor's is probably the best I've had so far. The balance is spot on — sweet but not syrupy, and it keeps revealing new flavours the longer you sit with it. Shared it with my dad and he was genuinely impressed.

Noah Williams VIPsAllowed - Solid vintage port
7/10

Decent port with good structure and plenty of fruit. Not as sweet as some ports I've had which I actually prefer. The acidity keeps it from being cloying. Would I buy it again at this price? Probably not regularly, but it's a nice treat with a cheese board.

Olivia Wong VIPsAllowed - Birthday treat
8/10

Got this as a birthday present for myself because why not. Really smooth and well put together, with a finish that just lingers nicely. Went brilliantly with some stilton and crackers at the end of the night.

Bought this for my parents' anniversary dinner and it was a huge hit. Really rich and complex with loads of dark fruit, and that 20% ABV sneaks up on you in the best way. Not cheap at £80 but for a proper aged port from 2003, I think it's fair enough.
