Kwame Mensah VIPsAllowed - Reliable port for the price
7/10

I keep coming back to Sandeman because you always know what you're getting. This 10 year tawny is smooth, got a nice nutty warmth to it, and the finish sticks around without being too much. Good value compared to some of the fancier ports out there.

The guy at Majestic recommended this and yeah, it's good. Nice dried fruit thing going on with some butterscotch. I've had cheaper tawnies that aren't miles off though, so not sure the price is fully justified.

Had this with a stilton board after Sunday roast and honestly it was incredible. You get this lovely apricot and orange peel thing on the nose, then all this butterscotch and spice when you drink it. Already bought another bottle.

Bought this for Christmas and it was a massive hit. Really nice caramel and nutty flavours, and that warmth from the 20% hits you in a good way. At around thirty quid it's not cheap but honestly it lasted us ages because you only need a small glass.

Got this as a birthday present and it's alright but sweeter than I expected. The fig and toffee flavours are nice enough, I just prefer something drier personally. My wife loved it though so not a total loss.
