Tariq Hassan VIPsAllowed - Perfect with cheese and charcuterie
8/10

Got this for a dinner party and it was a massive hit with the cheese board. Really aromatic straight from the pour, loads of character. Everyone was surprised how smooth it was given the 20% ABV. Felt like a proper grown-up drink.

Sophia Laurent VIPsAllowed - My first proper sherry
7/10

I always thought sherry was that sweet stuff my nan drinks at Christmas but this is completely different. Dry, interesting, almost savoury? The finish is really clean and makes you want another sip. Starting to understand what people see in this stuff.

6/10

Had this at a friend's house and thought it was decent. Quite nutty and dry, well-made for sure. But at over £20 I'd probably only grab it for a specific occasion. Not something I'd just crack open on a Tuesday.

Bought this on a whim from Majestic and honestly wasn't expecting much from a sherry. But wow, it's got so much going on — nutty, dry, really layered. At 20% you'd think it'd be a bit much but it's surprisingly smooth. Will definitely be buying again.

Haruki Sato VIPsAllowed - Solid sherry for the price
7/10

The guy at my local wine shop recommended this when I said I wanted to get into sherry. It's dry and complex with a clean finish that doesn't hang around too long. £21.75 feels about right for the quality. Good starting point if you're curious about amontillado.

Natalie Ford VIPsAllowed - Bit pricey for what it is
6/10

It's a good sherry, no complaints about the quality. Clean finish, expressive nose, all that. But £21.75 for a bottle of sherry feels steep when you can get a really decent red for the same money. I'd wait for a deal on this one.

Natasha Volkov VIPsAllowed - Absolutely brilliant amontillado

Lustau just know what they're doing with sherry. This has genuine depth — every time I go back to the glass I pick up something new. Balanced, composed, never feels hot despite the strength. One of the best things you can buy for under £25.

7/10

Saw this on a restaurant menu and ordered it out of curiosity. It's well-made with a firm acidity and nice dry finish. The problem is I don't really know when I'd drink it at home — it's not exactly a Friday night pour. Would be great with tapas though.
