Ryan Mitchell VIPsAllowed - Best port I've ever had
9/10

Tried this at a wine bar and immediately ordered a bottle online. The coffee and roasted almond flavours are incredible and it's not too sweet like a lot of ports can be. You can't even tell it's 20% which is honestly a bit dangerous. I keep finding excuses to pour a small glass after dinner.

10/10

Picked this up on a trip to Porto and finally opened it for our anniversary. The baked quince and preserved citrus on the palate are just gorgeous, and that finish — dried apricot and hazelnut that just won't quit. My wife doesn't even like port and she asked for a second glass. Already planning when I can justify buying another bottle.

10/10

Bought this for my dad's 70th birthday and we were both blown away. The dried fig and butterscotch on the nose alone had us grinning before we even took a sip. That finish just goes on and on — we sat there for a good ten minutes not saying a word. At £180 it's not cheap but for a once-in-a-lifetime occasion it was absolutely perfect.

Penelope Hart VIPsAllowed - Smooth as anything
8/10

I'm not usually a port drinker but had this at a tasting and it completely changed my mind. It's so smooth you'd never guess it was 20%. Loads of dried fruit and nutty flavours, almost like a really fancy dessert in a glass. Bit out of my usual budget but I can see what you're paying for with 50 years of ageing.

Aiko Tanaka VIPsAllowed - Amazing but hard to justify the price
8/10

A friend brought this round for a dinner party and yeah, it's genuinely stunning — the orange peel and walnut notes are spot on and it lingers forever. But £180 is a LOT of money for port. I'd happily drink it again if someone else is buying, not sure I'd pull the trigger myself though.

Andre Dubois VIPsAllowed - Christmas day highlight
9/10

The guy at our local wine shop talked us into splashing out on this for Christmas. So glad he did. Really rich and complex but somehow still feels light and balanced — the acidity cuts through all that sweetness beautifully. The cinnamon and clove on the finish paired ridiculously well with the Christmas pudding.
