Clara Johansson VIPsAllowed - Not your nan's sherry
8/10

I always thought sherry was that sticky sweet stuff at Christmas. This is a completely different thing. Dry, rich, bit of a leathery depth to it. Really sophisticated without being pretentious. Changed my mind about sherry entirely.

Benjamin Ross VIPsAllowed - Absolute stunner with cheese
9/10

Brought this out after dinner with a board of manchego and some walnuts and honestly everyone went quiet for a second. That caramel-nutty flavour with a bit of salt is incredible. My mate who "doesn't like sherry" had three glasses. Enough said.

Mei-Lin Wu VIPsAllowed - Finally tried a proper sherry
8/10

The guy at the wine shop talked me into this when I said I wanted something different. 30 years old and you can taste it — there's this dried fig and nutty thing going on that's just class. Not cheap but it lasts ages because you sip it slowly.

Emily Thomas VIPsAllowed - Maybe I don't get sherry yet
6/10

Tried this at a tasting and bought a bottle on impulse. It's clearly well-made and the dried fruit and nut flavours are nice, but I found it a bit intense for casual drinking. Might be more of an acquired taste. Partner preferred it to me though so not going to waste.

Sophia Laurent VIPsAllowed - Dinner party hero
9/10

Served this at a dinner party as a wildcard and it was the talking point of the night. People kept going back to it. There's a brightness to it that stops it being heavy despite all that richness. The finish is so clean. Already bought another bottle.

Tyler Bennet VIPsAllowed - Perfect after-dinner pour
8/10

Had this on a restaurant menu and ordered it on a whim. The toasted almond finish just goes on and on. Tracked down a bottle online afterwards. It's 30 years old and honestly tastes like it — in a good way. Really satisfying.

Celeste Moreno VIPsAllowed - Good but steep price
7/10

It's lovely, don't get me wrong. Really complex, salty-sweet thing going on. But nearly sixty quid is a lot for sherry — most people I know wouldn't pay that. I'd buy it again on a special occasion but not as a regular thing.

Ingrid Holm VIPsAllowed - Birthday treat that delivered
9/10

Got this as a birthday present to myself and wow. The toffee and walnut thing is real — it's like liquid Christmas cake but in the best way. Smooth as anything, no burn at all despite being 20%. Worth every penny of that £58.
