Went in looking for something different for my dad's birthday and the guy behind the counter suggested this. Neither of us had really tried white port before. Dad absolutely loved it, said it was like nothing else in his drinks cabinet. Really clean finish, no harshness at all despite being 20%.

Bought this to make port and tonics for a dinner party and ended up sipping it neat because it was so interesting on its own. There's a lot going on flavour-wise, layers that keep revealing themselves. The acidity stops it being cloying which is my usual issue with port. Really pleasant stuff.

Alex Ramos - Converted me to white port

I always thought port was that sticky red stuff your gran has at Christmas. This is completely different — fresh, layered, genuinely interesting to drink. Saw it on a menu at a wine bar and ordered a glass on a whim. Went and bought a bottle the next day. The complexity really surprised me.

Rosa Paredes - Great with cheese and crackers

Had this at a friend's place with a cheese board and it was brilliant. Not too sweet, not too dry, just really balanced. I don't know much about port but this felt like a proper quality drink. Goes down dangerously easy for something that strong.

Been getting into fortified wines recently and Graham's is a name you can trust. This is well-structured with good fruit character and enough acidity to keep it lively. Not the most exciting white port I've tried but it's reliable and the quality is there. Would happily recommend to anyone wanting to try the style.

Nia Okafor - Nice but not sure I'd rebuy

It's decent — clean, well-made, no complaints on the taste front. But at £25.50 and 20% ABV I kind of expected it to blow me away and it didn't quite get there. I'd say it's a solid white port but there are cheaper options that do a similar job for casual drinking.

Picked this up after trying white port and tonic at a bar in Lisbon last year. Graham's Blend No5 is properly good — not too sweet, nice bit of freshness to it. At £25.50 it's not cheap but honestly one bottle lasts ages since you're pouring small measures. Will definitely be keeping one in the fridge all summer.

Look it's fine, it tastes good, but I'm not sure I get the hype with white port generally. For £25.50 I'd rather have a nice bottle of wine or a cocktail. My partner liked it more than me though so maybe I'm just not the target audience. The finish is nice and clean, I'll give it that.
