Emily Thomas VIPsAllowed - Really good but bit steep
8/10

Had this at a friend's dinner party and tracked a bottle down afterwards. It's properly good — structured and interesting with a long finish that keeps you thinking about it. My only gripe is nearly ninety quid is a lot for port when you can get decent ones for half that. That said, you can taste where the money goes.

Isla McCallister VIPsAllowed - Best port I've ever had
10/10

I'm not a massive port drinker but my father-in-law is, so I got this for his 70th. He absolutely loved it and honestly so did I. It's got this lovely depth that builds the more you drink it, and it finishes so cleanly. Converted me into a port fan.

Luciano Bianchi VIPsAllowed - Christmas dinner winner
9/10

Bought this for Christmas dinner and it was the star of the evening. Really rich and complex but doesn't feel heavy even at 20% — everyone kept going back for more. The finish just lingers forever in the best way. At £87.50 it's not cheap but for a special occasion port it's hard to beat.

Kofi Asante VIPsAllowed - Solid vintage port

The guy at my local wine shop recommended this and I'm glad he did. You can smell it's serious stuff before you even take a sip — really confident, bold aromas. Nicely balanced with good acidity so it doesn't get cloying. Would probably wait for a birthday or anniversary to buy again at this price though.
