Emily Thomas VIPsAllowed - Absolutely stunning
10/10

I've been getting into port over the last couple of years and this is easily the best I've tried so far. Everything just works together — the fruit, the warmth, the long finish. Bought a second bottle to lay down for a few more years. Can't wait to see how it develops.

Jackson Wu VIPsAllowed - Really solid vintage port
8/10

Had this at a friend's house after a roast and it was lovely. Rich dark plummy flavours, well balanced, nothing harsh about it. Would I spend £82 on a bottle myself? Probably not, but I'm glad I got to try it.

Picked this up on a trip to Portugal actually. Poured it alongside a stilton and some dark chocolate after dinner and it was absolutely perfect. The fig and plum notes pair so well with strong cheese. Dangerously drinkable for 20%.

Maxwell Green VIPsAllowed - Good but bit pricey for me
7/10

Nice port, don't get me wrong. Lots of dried fruit flavour, smooth, warming. But at over £80 I expected to be completely blown away and I'd say it was more like quietly impressed? I've had ports at half the price that I enjoyed nearly as much.

Penelope Hart VIPsAllowed - Best port I've ever had
10/10

My wife got me this for Christmas and wow. So smooth for 20% — you barely notice the alcohol which is dangerous honestly. The finish just goes on and on. I'm not usually a port person but this converted me.

Saw this on a restaurant wine list and figured why not treat myself. Really glad I did. It's not one of those ports that hits you over the head — more subtle and layered. You keep finding new things in each sip. Clean finish too, no rough edges.

Hannah Brooks VIPsAllowed - Worth the splurge
9/10

The guy at my local wine shop recommended this when I said I wanted something special. He wasn't wrong. There's a depth to it that keeps changing as you sip — dried plum, figs, something almost like incense. Really impressive stuff.

Simon Hughes VIPsAllowed - Proper special occasion port
9/10

Bought this for my dad's 60th and we cracked it open after dinner. The dried fruit flavours are incredible — like really good fig jam but in a glass. At £82 it's not cheap but honestly felt worth it for a milestone birthday.
