Picked this up for a barbecue last weekend and it was a massive hit. Really zingy and fresh with loads of citrus and tropical fruit — went down dangerously easy in the sunshine. At £26.50 it's not an everyday bottle but definitely one I'd grab again for a nice occasion.

6/10

It's a solid Sauvignon Blanc, crisp and refreshing with nice peach and pear flavours. But honestly for nearly £27 I expected something a bit more special. You can get really decent NZ Sauv Blancs for half that. Would drink it again happily if someone else was buying though.

The guy at our local wine shop recommended this and I'm glad he did. There's a slightly salty mineral thing going on that made it absolutely perfect with the fish pie I made. Clean and bright without being too sharp. Will definitely keep this one in mind for dinner parties.

Had this at a friend's birthday dinner and had to track down a bottle for myself. Really aromatic when you pour it — sort of lemony and floral — and then it's all crisp fruit and freshness on the palate. Smooth for 13% too, no harshness at all. Not cheap but it's Cloudy Bay, you know what you're getting.
