Bought this for my wife's birthday dinner and it went down really well with the lamb. It's got a proper backbone to it — not flabby at all, nice acidity that cuts through rich food. 14% but you wouldn't know it, the alcohol is well hidden. Would buy again for the right occasion.

Celeste Moreno VIPsAllowed — Nice wine, weird name

No idea what Florpower 107 MMXX means but the wine itself is pretty tasty. Fresh and structured with enough going on to keep it interesting. Opened it with some pasta and it was great — the acidity really works with tomato-based sauces. Finishes clean without hanging around too long. I'd grab another bottle if I saw it on offer.

Picked this up after the guy at my local wine shop recommended it. The nose is amazing — really fruity and inviting, you can smell it before you even get the glass to your face. Loads of fruit on the palate but it's not jammy or heavy, there's a freshness that keeps you going back. At £27 it's not an everyday wine but it's worth it for a Friday treat.
