Samir Patel VIPsAllowed - Pleasant surprise
7/10

Saw this on a menu and took a chance on it. Pleasantly surprised — it's well put together and everything just works. Not the most exciting wine I've ever had but genuinely enjoyable and I finished the bottle happily.

Finn OBrien VIPsAllowed - Great summer wine
8/10

This is proper easy drinking. The lower ABV means you can have it with lunch on a sunny afternoon and still function afterwards. Had it with some grilled chicken and salad and it was spot on. Already ordered another bottle.

Marcus Blackwell VIPsAllowed - Really nice find
8/10

Picked this up after the guy at my local wine shop recommended it. Really clean and balanced, nothing too heavy or overpowering. At £20 it's not cheap for a weeknight bottle but honestly it's worth treating yourself now and then.

Herbert Muller VIPsAllowed - Good but a bit pricey
6/10

It's a decent wine, don't get me wrong, but £20.75 feels steep for what you're getting. I've had Argentinian cabs at half the price that I enjoyed just as much. That said, it is nicely balanced and easy to drink.

Helena Kosta VIPsAllowed - Solid choice for dinner
7/10

Bought this for a dinner party and it went down well with everyone. Nice and fresh at 12% so nobody was falling asleep by dessert. The finish is really smooth, no weird aftertaste or anything. Would buy again.

Tyler Bennet VIPsAllowed - Expected more honestly
5/10

Maybe I caught a bad bottle but this didn't blow me away. It was fine, clean and drinkable, but for over twenty quid I wanted a bit more going on. The finish was nice though, I'll give it that.

Zara Al-Hassan VIPsAllowed - Lovely birthday treat
8/10

My partner got me this for my birthday and I'm glad they did. Really expressive on the nose, you can actually smell proper defined fruit rather than just "wine smell" if that makes sense. Light enough to have a couple of glasses without feeling heavy.
