Omar Diallo VIPsAllowed - Lovely with our Christmas dinner
8/10

We had this with smoked salmon starters on Christmas Day and it was spot on. Really confident flavours, quite rich but still fresh and crisp. The finish hangs around in a good way. My wife said it was the best champagne we've had at home and she's not easily impressed.

Idris Ibrahim VIPsAllowed - Good but I expected more for the price
7/10

The wine shop guy recommended this over some bigger name champagnes and it is nice — clean finish, well balanced, definitely a step up from supermarket fizz. But at over sixty quid I kept wanting it to blow me away and it didn't quite get there. Would maybe try it again if it was on offer.

Ravi Krishnan VIPsAllowed - Proper champagne, no messing about
8/10

Had this at a friend's dinner party and immediately asked where she got it. There's genuine depth to it — layers of flavour that keep revealing themselves as you drink. Not one of those champagnes that's all bubbles and no substance. Already ordered a couple of bottles for ourselves.

Carlos Mendez VIPsAllowed - Birthday treat that delivered
9/10

Bought this for my 40th and honestly it was the highlight of the night. Really expressive stuff — you get loads going on in the glass before you even take a sip. Proper layered flavour too, not just fizz and nothing else. At £61.50 it's not cheap but for a Grand Cru on a special occasion I'd say it's fair.
