Isabella Rossi VIPsAllowed - Punches above its weight
9/10

I've had champagnes at twice this price that weren't as good. There's a real complexity to it — each sip kind of unfolds and you notice different things. Bought it after seeing Les Freres Mignon mentioned on a wine forum and I'm now a convert. Already ordered more.

Petra Novak VIPsAllowed - Proper grown-up champagne
8/10

The wine shop guy steered me toward this instead of the usual Moët and I'm glad he did. Really clean and precise — you can tell someone actually cared about making it. The acidity keeps it fresh and lively without being sharp. Would definitely buy again for a nice dinner.

Jorge Castillo VIPsAllowed - New favourite champagne house
8/10

Had this at a friend's dinner party and immediately asked where she got it. The balance is spot on — fruity but not sweet, bubbly but not aggressive. It's the kind of champagne where you just keep going back for another sip without thinking about it.

Tiffany Nguyen VIPsAllowed - Loved this with our Christmas dinner
8/10

Picked up two bottles for Christmas Day and they were perfect. Not too heavy at 12.5%, so you can have a couple of glasses without feeling like you've overdone it before the turkey even arrives. Really bright and refreshing with lovely fruit coming through.

Kwame Mensah VIPsAllowed - Bit pricey for midweek
7/10

Nice champagne, no complaints about the quality. Crisp acidity, clean finish, everything in its right place. But I'm not sure I'd grab it regularly at £57 when there are solid cremants for half that. One for celebrations rather than a Tuesday night.

Kai Oliveira VIPsAllowed - Birthday treat that delivered
9/10

Got this for my 40th and wow, really glad I splashed out. The bubbles are fine and elegant, and there's this lovely layered thing going on where you keep finding new flavours as you drink it. At £57 it's not cheap but for a special occasion champagne it's absolutely worth it.

Haruki Sato VIPsAllowed - Well made but not my style
6/10

I can appreciate that this is a quality champagne and it's clearly well crafted. The acidity is a bit much for my taste though — I tend to prefer something a touch rounder and softer. My partner loved it so maybe it's just me. Fine bubbles and a clean finish, just not quite my thing.

Tariq Hassan VIPsAllowed - Good but not mind-blowing
7/10

Decent champagne, well made and balanced. I enjoyed it but at nearly sixty quid I was maybe expecting a bit more wow factor. The finish is nice and clean though, and it went down very easily with some oysters on a Friday night.
