Maxwell Green VIPsAllowed - Worth every penny for a special night
9/10

Bought this for our anniversary dinner and wow, it really delivered. Super dry which I love — none of that sweet cheap champagne taste. You can tell there's real depth to it, layers of flavour that kept revealing themselves as we drank. At £160 it's not an everyday bottle but for a celebration it's absolutely spot on.

My mate who's really into wine brought this round for a dinner party and I have to say it was seriously good. Really clean and precise, with a finish that just goes on and on. Bit steep at £160 though — I'd probably save it for a proper occasion rather than a Tuesday night.

Daniel Torres VIPsAllowed - Really nice but not sure it's £160 nice

Got this as a birthday present so can't complain about the price, but honestly I'm not sure I'd pay £160 myself when there are great champagnes at half that. That said, it IS properly good — structured and layered with a long clean finish. Just depends how deep your pockets are I suppose.

Victor Osei VIPsAllowed - Best champagne I've had in years

Saw this on a list at a wine bar and the sommelier talked me into trying a glass. Immediately loved how expressive it was on the nose without being showy about it. The extra brut style is perfect if you don't like your fizz too sweet — bone dry with gorgeous balanced fruit and acidity. Tracked down a bottle the next week and it's even better at home with food.
