Jacquart Signature Rose
Champagne 12.5% ABV ABV JacquartBirthday treat that delivered
Got this for my 40th and honestly it was the highlight of the night. Really expressive on the nose, proper rosé Champagne smell that hits you as soon as you pour. Lovely depth to it too, not just fizzy pink wine — there's actual substance there. At £58 it's not cheap but for a special occasion it's worth every penny.
Nice but bit pricey for what it is
It's good, don't get me wrong — clean finish, well made, does what it says on the tin. But at nearly sixty quid I was expecting to be a bit more blown away? My mate brought a £35 Crémant to the same party and honestly it wasn't miles off. Would maybe wait for a deal on this one.
Goes down dangerously easy
Saw this on a restaurant menu and figured why not. Really confident aroma, you can tell straight away it's quality stuff. The finish hangs around in a really pleasant way — kept catching myself just sitting there appreciating it instead of talking to my date. Would buy a bottle for home.
Solid rosé Champagne
The wine shop guy steered me toward this when I said I wanted something a step up from Prosecco for a dinner party. Good acidity, nicely balanced fruit, and it lasted well through the meal. Not the kind of thing I'd buy every week at that price but I'd definitely get it again for the right occasion.
My new favourite for celebrations
Picked this up for our anniversary and we both loved it. It's got real structure to it, like a proper firm backbone that holds everything together. Not one of those sweet wishy-washy rosés at all. The 12.5% ABV is sneaky though, we finished the bottle before we'd even sat down to eat!
