Daisy Miller VIPsAllowed - Great find for a dinner party
8/10

Served this at a dinner party last weekend and everyone asked about it. Super clean and precise, not sweet at all which I prefer in champagne. The bubbles are fine and it just feels really well made. Would buy again but probably only for occasions given the price.

Jason Steel VIPsAllowed - Nice but a bit steep
7/10

It's good champagne, no question. Dry, complex, interesting stuff happening on the palate. But £55 is a lot and I'm not sure it blows away some of the £35-40 bottles I've had recently. If you're into that bone-dry extra brut style though, you'll probably rate it higher than me.

Ruth Banks VIPsAllowed - Classy stuff
8/10

Saw this on a restaurant menu and decided to try a bottle from a shop instead. Really elegant and balanced, properly dry without being austere. It kind of draws you back for another sip before you realise your glass is empty. Good champagne for people who don't like sweet fizz.

Ethan Cooper VIPsAllowed - This is the real deal

I've been getting more into grower champagnes lately and Elemart Robion is exactly why. The acidity is spot on and there's genuine depth here — layers of flavour that keep unfolding. Makes most supermarket champagne taste one-dimensional. Absolutely loved it.

Bought two bottles for NYE and honestly it was the highlight of the evening. Really expressive on the nose straight away, you don't have to swirl it around for ages. Crisp and dry with enough going on to keep it interesting. My mate who normally drinks prosecco said it converted him.

Felix Moreau VIPsAllowed - Solid but I expected more
7/10

Maybe my expectations were too high but while this is definitely a quality champagne, it didn't completely wow me. Clean finish, nice structure, very dry. It's well made for sure, just didn't have that magic moment I was hoping for at this price point. Would still recommend trying it though.

Sara Lindstrom VIPsAllowed - Proper champagne this
9/10

Picked this up for my wife's birthday after the guy at the wine shop recommended it. Really crisp and dry without being harsh, and it's got this lovely layered thing going on where you keep tasting new stuff. At £55 it's not cheap but honestly felt worth it for a special occasion.
