Sibel Nur VIPsAllowed - Absolutely stunning white
9/10

Saw this on a restaurant menu and splurged. No regrets whatsoever. The freshness is incredible — lemon, grapefruit, a bit of stone fruit — and that mineral finish just keeps you coming back for more. I'm still pretty new to Burgundy but if this is what Premier Cru tastes like then I need to explore more.

The wine shop guy recommended this when I said I wanted something impressive for a dinner party. Everyone commented on it. There's this wet stone, almost flinty quality that makes it taste really alive. The finish just goes on and on. Worth saving up for.

Picked this up on a trip to France and finally opened it for our anniversary. The nectarine and citrus flavours are gorgeous and there's a mineral backbone that keeps everything interesting. Goes amazingly well with creamy pasta. Already looking for another bottle.

Kai Oliveira VIPsAllowed - Not what I expected from Chardonnay
8/10

I normally avoid Chardonnay because I find it a bit heavy and boring but this completely changed my mind. It's so fresh and bright — loads of lemon and green apple. Doesn't taste like 14% at all which is kind of dangerous honestly. Had it with some grilled fish and it was perfect.

Shared this with my wife over a roast chicken and it was lovely. Really fresh and zingy with green apple and lemon, but there's a mineral thing going on underneath that gives it some weight. Not your average midweek Chardonnay, that's for sure.

Priscilla Nunes VIPsAllowed - Birthday treat that delivered
9/10

Got this as a birthday present to myself because why not. The grapefruit and nectarine thing on the nose is real — I kept sniffing before I even took a sip. Crispy, lemony, and honestly way more exciting than most whites I've had at this price. Would absolutely buy again for a special occasion.

Tried this at a tasting event and bought a bottle to take home. It's very well made — nice grapefruit nose, good acidity, chalky dry finish. I enjoyed it a lot but I'm not sure it blew me away enough to justify the price tag. Would love to try other vintages though.

Ayako Hirano VIPsAllowed - Great wine but ouch the price
7/10

Look, this is a genuinely good Burgundy — the citrus and stone fruit flavours are spot on and it's got a lovely clean finish. But £199 is a lot of money for a white wine. I'd have been over the moon at £120, at this price I just expected a bit more wow factor.
