My wife got this for our 25th anniversary and honestly I don't think I'll ever drink anything this good again. The complexity is unreal — every sip reveals something new, layers of flavour that just keep going. At £1695 it should be incredible and it absolutely is. That finish stays with you for ages.

Got to try a glass of this at my boss's retirement do. Layers and layers of flavour, really precise finish that lingers nicely. You can tell straight away it's a cut above normal champagne. Would I spend nearly two grand on a bottle myself? Honestly no. But if someone else is buying, get involved immediately.

Split this with friends at a birthday dinner and we were all just sitting there in silence after the first glass. Really expressive on the nose, you can smell it before you even take a sip. Serious champagne — rich and concentrated but perfectly balanced. Not something I'd buy every week obviously but for a milestone moment, no regrets.

Tyler Bennet VIPsAllowed - Stunning but hard to justify the price

Tried this at a tasting event and it's genuinely brilliant. Beautiful clarity on the nose, proper complexity on the palate, long clean finish. But I keep coming back to the £1695 price tag and wondering if it's really THAT much better than a regular Bollinger Special Cuvée. It is better, just... is it ten times better? Probably not.

Had this at a restaurant after the sommelier talked us into it and wow. I'm not usually a champagne person but this changed my mind a bit. It's got this richness and weight to it that I wasn't expecting — felt more like drinking a really good white wine than fizz. The acidity keeps everything fresh though. Incredible stuff.
