Finn OBrien VIPsAllowed - Really good but hard to justify the price
8/10

Tried this at a restaurant and it was genuinely excellent — complex, layered, with a clean finish that makes you want another glass. But at over £200 a bottle I kept thinking I could get three really good champagnes for that. If someone else is buying, absolutely say yes though.

Thomas Weber VIPsAllowed - Best champagne I've ever had
10/10

My wife got me this for my 40th and I'm still thinking about it weeks later. You can smell it the second you pour — rich, confident, just immediately impressive. The acidity keeps it fresh and lively even though there's so much going on. I don't give 10s lightly but this earned it.

Priya Sharma VIPsAllowed - The wine shop guy was right
9/10

Was looking for something special for a dinner party and the guy at my local recommended this. Grand Cru Ay, 2016 vintage — he said it would be a showstopper and he wasn't wrong. It's got this precise, driving quality to it but also real richness. Everyone at the table noticed it was something different from regular champagne.

Sibel Nur VIPsAllowed - Worth every penny for a special night
9/10

Bought this for our anniversary and wow, it did not disappoint. The bubbles are so fine and elegant, and it's got this amazing depth to it — layers of flavour that kept changing as we drank it. At £209 it's not an everyday thing obviously, but for a celebration it's absolutely perfect.

Marcus Blackwell VIPsAllowed - Impressive stuff, still learning about grower champagne
8/10

I'm fairly new to the whole grower champagne thing but a friend who's really into wine suggested I try Bereche. This is structured and serious — not your typical bubbly for toasting. The finish just quietly lingers in a really pleasant way. Probably a bit above my usual budget but glad I experienced it.
