Alex Ramos VIPsAllowed - Bit much for me
5/10

I can see why people rate this but it's a lot. Very intense and serious — I was expecting something a bit more easy-drinking. Well made though, just not really my style. Might suit someone who's more into their sherries than I am.

Tomas Rivera VIPsAllowed - Solid sherry for the price

Good honest Palo Cortado. You can tell it's en rama because it's got that unfiltered character to it. Well balanced, doesn't taste boozy at all despite being 14%. Would happily buy again.

Dmitri Volkov VIPsAllowed - Really interesting bottle
8/10

Picked this up after the guy in the wine shop recommended it. Never had a Palo Cortado before but really glad I tried it. There's loads going on — it's complex without being hard work, and the finish just keeps going. Great value at under £20.

Olivia Park VIPsAllowed - Birthday treat that delivered
8/10

My partner got me this for my birthday and we ended up nursing the bottle all evening. Really expressive on the nose and the flavours just keep unfolding the longer you sit with it. Genuinely impressed for £19.50.

Haruki Sato VIPsAllowed - Not quite my thing
6/10

Bought this for a dinner party and it was a bit divisive. I found it interesting but quite intense — probably needs food to go with it. The acidity is nice and clean though, I'll give it that. Might try it again with some strong cheese.

Grace Kim VIPsAllowed - Decent with Sunday roast
7/10

Saw this on a list of recommended sherries online and thought I'd give it a go. It's dry and structured with good depth — went surprisingly well with roast beef. Not the kind of thing I'd drink every week but a nice change of pace.
