Natalie Ford VIPsAllowed - Elegant but takes its time
8/10

Opened this way too cold straight from the fridge and honestly wasn't blown away at first. Gave it 20 minutes to warm up a bit and it completely transformed — all this chalky mineral character came through and the finish just kept going. Lesson learned. Really lovely champagne once you let it do its thing.

Petra Novak VIPsAllowed - Really good but hard to justify the price
8/10

Had this at a friend's dinner party and it's undeniably excellent — lovely structure, great balance between fruit and that crisp acidity. But at £135 a bottle I kept thinking there are solid Grand Cru champagnes for £80-90 that get you most of the way there. Would I buy it again? Maybe for a big occasion.

Elena Vasquez VIPsAllowed - Properly impressive stuff
9/10

Saw this on a restaurant wine list and decided to treat myself. So glad I did. It's got this focused, almost laser-like quality to it — not showy at all but everything is just dialled in perfectly. The finish is ridiculously long. I'm still relatively new to spending this much on champagne but this one made me get it.

Spent ages deciding between this and a couple of other Grand Crus for New Year's Eve. The precision on this is unreal — it's like every sip is perfectly composed without being boring or too serious. Goes brilliantly with seafood if anyone's wondering. Already planning to grab another bottle for next Christmas.

Bought this for our anniversary dinner and wow, it did not disappoint. There's this chalky, mineral thing going on that just makes it taste so clean and precise. The finish goes on forever — we kept looking at each other like "are you still tasting that?" At £135 it's not an everyday buy but for a celebration it's absolutely perfect.

Erik Strom VIPsAllowed - Best champagne I've had in years
10/10

My wife got me this for my birthday after the guy at our local wine shop recommended it. I'm not exaggerating when I say I sat there for a good minute after the first sip just processing it. The acidity is sharp but not aggressive, and there's this depth to it that keeps changing as it opens up. Genuinely special bottle.

Annika Svensson VIPsAllowed - Nice but maybe overhyped?
7/10

Picked this up after reading some rave reviews online. It's a solid blanc de blancs with good acidity and a clean finish, don't get me wrong. But for £135 I expected to have my mind blown and it was more of a "yeah that's really nice" moment. I think I just prefer champagnes with a bit more richness to them personally.
