Vouette et Sorbee Fidele Blanc de Noirs Champagne / Brut Nature
Champagne 12.5% ABV ABV Vouette et SorbeeGood but I expected more for the price
Picked this up after reading about natural champagnes. It's nice — dry, focused, proper quality. But at nearly £80 a bottle I think you can find similar stuff for less. The zero dosage thing is interesting though, you can really taste the difference.
Interesting but takes getting used to
First time trying a zero dosage champagne and it's definitely different. Very dry and taut, almost austere at first but it opens up after a bit in the glass. I can see why people rate it but I think I still prefer something with a touch more sweetness personally.
Birthday treat that delivered
My partner got me this for my birthday and it's easily the best champagne I've had in ages. So clean and vibrant, with this lovely depth that keeps revealing new things as you drink it. Not your typical sweet bubbly at all. Absolutely loved it.
This is what champagne should taste like
Once you try grower champagne like this you can't go back to the big brand stuff. Vouette et Sorbee clearly know what they're doing — confident aromatics, brilliant acidity, and a finish that just lingers. Splashed out on two bottles and no regrets.
Saw this on a restaurant menu, tracked it down
Had a glass of this at a restaurant and immediately wanted to find a bottle. The fruit is there but it's not in your face, and there's a real complexity that builds as you sip. At 12.5% it's easy drinking too. Worth the hunt.
Perfect for a dinner party
Served this at a dinner party with some charcuterie and cheese and it went down brilliantly. The brut nature style means it's bone dry which some of my friends weren't expecting, but everyone ended up loving it. Really well balanced.
Great recommendation from the wine shop
The guy at my local recommended this when I said I wanted something different from the usual Moët stuff. It's a blanc de noirs so all made from dark grapes which I thought was cool. Really expressive on the nose and the finish just goes on and on. Will definitely buy again.
Wow, this is proper champagne
Bought this for our anniversary and honestly blown away. There's no added sugar so you get this really pure, almost savoury thing going on with loads of depth. The acidity keeps it so fresh and lively. At £78 it's not cheap but it felt genuinely special.
