Vinvita Trebbiano 2024
Red 14% ABV ABV VinvitaIt's fine, nothing special
Had this at a friend's house. It's drinkable and the balance is decent enough, but I wouldn't go out of my way to buy it myself. For £9.75 there are Italian reds I'd reach for first. Not bad, just not memorable.
Solid weeknight red
Picked this up from the local wine shop because it was under a tenner and I needed something for pasta night. Really surprised by how smooth it is — good fruit, not too heavy despite the 14%. Will definitely grab another bottle.
Great with food
The guy at the wine shop recommended this when I said I was doing a big lasagne for the family. He was right — it's got enough structure to stand up to rich food but doesn't overpower anything. Clean finish too, very easy drinking. Good value.
Punches above its weight!
I'm fairly new to wine but I'm trying to learn, and this one genuinely impressed me. There's a complexity in the middle that I kept noticing more of with each glass. Under a tenner and honestly tastes like it should cost more. Already ordered another case for the summer BBQs.
Decent enough for the price
Bought a couple of bottles for a dinner party. It's well made and the acidity keeps things interesting, but it doesn't really blow you away. My mate who knows more about wine than me said the alcohol was well hidden for 14%, which I'll take his word on. Does the job.
