Great dinner party find
Bought a couple of these for a dinner party and everyone enjoyed them. It's got that straightforward fruity Rioja thing going on but there's enough depth to keep it interesting. Clean finish too, very drinkable. At this price point I think it punches above its weight.

Nice surprise for a Joven
My mate recommended this and I was a bit sceptical because I usually go for Crianza or Reserva. But this is actually pretty good — fruity and fresh without being too simple. The 14% ABV doesn't hit you over the head either which is a plus. Had it with a pasta bake and it worked really well.

Solid weeknight red
Picked this up from the wine shop on a whim and honestly really happy with it. For under £14 you get a proper Rioja that doesn't taste cheap — good fruit, nice acidity, and it went down a treat with some lamb chops. Will definitely grab another bottle.

Fine but nothing special
It's alright. Clean and easy to drink but I was expecting a bit more for nearly £14. You can get some decent Riojas for less that have more going on. That said it's not bad by any means, just wouldn't rush to buy it again.
