Veuve Clicquot Rose Champagne
Champagne 12.5% ABV ABV Veuve ClicquotPretty good but I expected more
Saw this on a restaurant wine list and figured you can't go wrong with Veuve. It's nice — pleasantly dry with some berry notes and a clean finish. At 12.5% it's easy drinking too. I just thought for the price it would wow me a bit more than it did.
The pink champagne that actually delivers
The guy at Majestic recommended this when I said I wanted something for my girlfriend's 30th. It's properly balanced — not too fruity, not too dry — and it looks stunning in the glass. She loved it and honestly so did I.
My go-to celebration fizz
I keep coming back to this one. There's a real depth to it that you don't get with most rosé champagnes, and the acidity keeps it fresh and moreish. Paired it with some smoked salmon starters last weekend and it was perfect. Yes it's pricey but you get what you pay for.
Nice but steep price tag
Had this at a friend's birthday party and it's a solid rosé champagne, no question. Clean taste, good fizz, and it lingers nicely. But at over sixty quid a bottle I'm not sure it's that much better than some cheaper options I've had. Good, not mindblowing.
Gorgeous colour, lovely drink
Picked this up at the airport duty free on a whim. The colour alone is beautiful and it tastes as good as it looks. Crisp, fruity but not sweet, and the finish hangs around just long enough to make you want another sip. Shared it with mates watching the rugby and it disappeared fast.
Worth every penny for a special night
Bought this for our anniversary dinner and it was absolutely gorgeous. Really crisp and fresh with lovely red fruit flavours that aren't too sweet. The bubbles are super fine and it just feels luxurious without being over the top. Would definitely buy again for a special occasion.
