Bought this for a dinner party and it went down fine with the lamb. Decent enough wine, nice dark fruit and some chocolate notes, but I've had Barberas I've enjoyed more for less money. Bit pricey for what it is if I'm honest.

Had this with a ribeye and it was a perfect match. Big blackcurrant and cherry flavours and the tannins are smooth enough that it's easy to drink. Would buy again but probably keep it for when we're having red meat.

My wife got me this for my birthday and I'm glad she did! The blackberry and vanilla really come through and there's this dark chocolate thing going on underneath that I kept going back to. Lovely long finish too. 12% ABV so you can have a couple of glasses without falling asleep on the sofa.

Picked this up after the guy at my local wine shop recommended it. Really rich and fruity — loads of plum and dark cherry flavours. The pepper on the finish is lovely too. At £20 it's a nice treat bottle for a Friday night.
