Olivia Wong VIPsAllowed - Decent, not really my thing though
6/10

My partner loves sherry so I grabbed this as a birthday present. It's clearly well made and has loads of depth, but I found it a bit too dry and intense for my taste. At nearly £26 I'd probably spend it on something I'd enjoy more, but she absolutely loved it so fair enough.

Isla McCallister VIPsAllowed - Why don't more people drink this stuff
8/10

Saw this on a menu at a tapas place and ordered a glass on a whim. So good I tracked down a bottle the next week. The acidity is really clean and the finish just lingers perfectly without overstaying its welcome. Genuinely one of the best things you can buy for under thirty quid.

Derek Chang VIPsAllowed - Proper grown-up sherry
8/10

Picked this up after the wine shop guy said it was one of the best amontillados under £30. He wasn't wrong — really nutty and dry with a savoury finish that kept me going back for more. Brilliant with some manchego and olives on a Friday night.

Daniel Oyama VIPsAllowed - Solid but needs the right mood
7/10

Got this for a dinner party and it went down well with the more adventurous drinkers. There's a lot going on — nutty, dry, a bit of that oxidative thing you get with aged sherries. Not an everyday bottle for me but genuinely impressive for the price.
