Natalie Ford VIPsAllowed - Interesting but not blown away
7/10

I can appreciate the quality here and it's clearly well made. Nice acidity, good fruit, decent finish. But for sixty-odd quid I was expecting to have my mind blown and it didn't quite get there for me. Would be an easy 9 at £40.

Clara Johansson VIPsAllowed - Something different from Sardinia
8/10

Don't know much about Sardinian wines but saw this on a menu on holiday and loved it so much I ordered a couple bottles when I got home. Really distinctive — smells amazing straight out of the bottle and the flavour has layers to it. Goes great with pasta and red meat.

Gianluca Ferro VIPsAllowed - Good but steep price
7/10

Got this as a birthday present and it's a solid red, well made with a nice long finish. But at £64.50 I'd probably not buy it again myself — there are Italian reds at half the price that I'd reach for more often. That said, it's definitely a cut above the usual stuff.

Yasmine Najjar VIPsAllowed - Sardinian gem
9/10

Picked this up after seeing it on a wine list in London and tracked down a bottle online. Really expressive nose — you can tell straight away this isn't your average supermarket red. Loads of fruit but it's not one of those sweet jammy ones, proper structure to it. Worth the price if you want something genuinely interesting.

Kofi Asante VIPsAllowed - Confident and well balanced
8/10

This does everything right without shouting about it. Generous fruit, firm structure, clean finish that doesn't hang around too long. At 14% you'd expect it to feel heavy but it carries the weight well. Would happily drink this again on a special occasion.

Daisy Miller VIPsAllowed - Perfect dinner party wine
8/10

Brought this to a friend's dinner party and it went down really well with a slow-cooked lamb shoulder. Big enough to stand up to rich food but not heavy or boozy despite being 14%. Everyone kept asking where I got it.

Liam Anderson VIPsAllowed - Absolutely loved this
9/10

The wine shop guy recommended this when I said I wanted something different from the usual Barolo or Chianti. So glad I listened. It's got real depth to it — every sip I was picking up something new. Clean finish too, no rough edges at all.
