Solid 20 year tawny

Picked this up on a trip to Porto and lugged it home in my suitcase lol. It's a proper aged tawny — nutty, warm, bit of dried fruit and spice. Nice clean finish that makes you want another glass. I've had fancier ports but this is consistently good every time I pour one. Taylor's know what they're doing.

Perfect after-dinner sipper

Had this with cheese and dark chocolate after Christmas dinner and it was spot on. Really rich and layered but not heavy or aggressive at all. Goes down way too easily honestly. The big bottle format is great if you're entertaining because it keeps well once opened.

Lovely but that price tag stings a bit

The wine shop guy talked me into this and yeah it's really good port, complex and smooth with a gorgeous long finish. But £380 is a lot of money even for 5 litres. I'd give the port itself a 9 but knocking a point off because I think you can get 80% of this quality for half the price with a 10 year tawny.

Unreal port, best I've had

My wife and I tried this at a restaurant last year and I've been obsessed ever since. Finally splashed out on the big bottle and no regrets. It's got this amazing depth to it — like layers of caramel and dried fruits that just build and build. Dangerously easy to drink for 20% ABV, you genuinely can't tell how strong it is.

Worth every penny for a special occasion

Bought the 5 litre bottle for my dad's 60th birthday and it was a massive hit. Really smooth and warming without that burning feeling you get from cheap port. The flavours just keep coming — dried fruit, toffee, nuts — and it lasted us the whole weekend with family. At £380 it's not cheap but when you break it down per glass from that big bottle it's actually reasonable for a 20 year old port.
