Taittinger Brut Prestige Rose NV Champagne
Champagne 12.5% ABV ABV TaittingerNice but a bit steep
Had this at a friend's house and really enjoyed it so tracked a bottle down myself. Lovely strawberry notes and proper elegant bubbles. At nearly £54 though I'd probably reach for a cheaper rosé fizz for everyday drinking — saving this one for Christmas.
The wine shop guy nailed it
Asked for a rosé Champagne recommendation and was pointed to this Taittinger. Really glad I listened — it's fresh, fruity, and has this nice depth to it that keeps you coming back for another sip. Goes brilliantly with a cheese board.
Decent but expected more
I'm still fairly new to Champagne beyond supermarket stuff so maybe I'm missing something, but while this was definitely nice I'm not sure it blew me away for the price. The berry flavours were pleasant and the bubbles were super fine and smooth. Would try it again if someone else was buying!
Reliable every time
This is my go-to rosé Champagne whenever I see it on a menu. Always consistent, always delicious. The red fruit flavours are bang on and the finish is clean without being boring. 12.5% means you can have a couple of glasses without falling over too.
Perfect for celebrations
Bought this for my wife's 40th and it went down an absolute treat. Gorgeous pink colour, loads of red berry flavour, and that creamy fizz just keeps going. Not cheap at £54 but for a special occasion it's worth every penny.
