Sadi Malot Bulles De Rose Champagne
Champagne 12.5% ABV ABV Sadi MalotSolid rosé champagne
The wine shop recommended this when I said I wanted a rosé champagne that wasn't just sweet and boring. They were right — it's got proper depth to it and stays fresh throughout. Good acidity keeps it lively. Would buy again for a dinner party.
Birthday treat that delivered
Bought this for my wife's 40th and we were both really impressed. Lovely berry flavours with a biscuity thing going on underneath — reminded me of good croissants somehow. For £52 it's not cheap but honestly felt worth it for a special occasion.
Nice but bit pricey for what it is
It's a perfectly good champagne, don't get me wrong. Summer fruit flavours, decent fizz, clean finish. But at over fifty quid I've had bottles I enjoyed just as much for less. Would probably reach for something else unless it was on offer.
Great with food!
Had this at a friend's place with salmon starters and it was a perfect match. Really liked how it wasn't too heavy — refreshing but still interesting enough to keep sipping. The berry notes come through nicely and it lingers in a good way.
My new go-to celebration fizz
Saw this on a restaurant menu and ordered it on a whim. So glad I did. There's a warmth to it that I don't usually get from champagne, almost like a toasty biscuit quality mixed with ripe berries. Tracked down a bottle to have at home and it's just as good. At 12.5% it doesn't knock you sideways either which is a plus.
