Rock Angel Rose 2024
Rosé 12% ABV ABV Rock AngelMy new favourite rosé
Saw this on a restaurant menu last month and absolutely loved it so tracked down a bottle to have at home. The nose is incredible — really hits you as soon as you pour. It's got this lovely lingering finish that makes you slow down and actually enjoy it rather than just gulping. Already ordered more for the summer.
Nice but not £27 nice
Bought this for a dinner party and everyone enjoyed it but honestly I think I was expecting more at this price point. It smells great and finishes clean, I'll give it that. Just felt like I could get something equally good for less.
Good with food
Had this with grilled salmon and it worked really well. It's got enough acidity to cut through richer dishes but the fruit keeps it easy drinking. The 12% ABV is nice too — means you can have a couple of glasses without writing off the evening. Decent rosé overall.
Summer in a glass
Picked this up for a barbecue and it was a massive hit. Really aromatic when you pour it — you can smell it before it even hits your lips. Lovely balance of fruit and a bit of zing that kept me going back for more. At £27 it's not an everyday buy but worth it for occasions.
Solid rosé, not cheap though
Got recommended this by the guy at my local wine shop and it's genuinely good. More interesting than your usual rosé — there's actual depth to it rather than just tasting like pink water. That said, £27 is a lot when there are decent rosés at half the price. Would buy again if it was on offer.
Birthday treat that delivered
My partner got me this for my birthday and wow, it's a step up from what I normally drink. You can tell straight away from the smell that it's a cut above — really expressive and clear. The taste builds the more you sit with it, which I wasn't expecting from a rosé. Pricey but genuinely special.
