Regi Brut Rose Grand Cru NV Champagne
Champagne 12.5% ABV ABV RegiBirthday treat that delivered
Got this for my wife's 40th and it went down an absolute storm. Beautiful pink colour, really fine bubbles, and it tasted properly elegant without being stuffy. At nearly sixty quid it's not an everyday thing but for a special occasion it's bang on.
Lovely rosé champagne
Picked this up after the guy in our local wine shop recommended it. Really expressive on the nose — you can smell it as soon as you pour, which I love. The bubbles are super fine and it's got a nice long finish. Would happily buy again.
Good but bit steep
Nice champagne, no complaints about the taste. Crisp acidity, lovely mousse, proper stuff. But at £58.75 I'd want it to absolutely blow me away and it didn't quite get there for me. I've had comparable bottles for less.
Wow this is gorgeous
I don't know loads about champagne but I know what I like and this is properly good. Smells amazing the second you pop the cork, and the taste is layered and interesting — kept noticing new things with each sip. Treating myself to another bottle for Easter.
Solid rosé champagne
Had this at a restaurant and liked it enough to track down a bottle. It's well made — good balance between fruit and acidity, fine bubbles, clean finish. Not the most exciting champagne I've ever had but definitely a reliable choice if you want something a cut above prosecco.
Dinner party winner
Brought this to a dinner party and everyone asked about it. It's got real depth to it — not just a simple fruity fizz. The finish hangs around in a really pleasant way. Felt pretty chuffed with my choice.
Great find from Regi
Wasn't familiar with Regi before but saw this was a Grand Cru and thought why not. Really glad I did. It's confident and well-structured without being heavy — drinks beautifully cold on a Friday evening. The 12.5% ABV means you can have a couple of glasses without writing off your Saturday too.
