Porte Noire Petite Porte Rose NV Champagne
Champagne 12.5% ABV ABV Porte NoireGreat with food
The guy at our local wine shop suggested this when I said I wanted something for a seafood dinner. It worked brilliantly — enough body to stand up to the food but still light and refreshing. Really clean finish too. Will definitely buy again for when we have people round.
Solid rosé Champagne
Picked this up after seeing it recommended online. Nice balance to it — fruity but not sweet, with a crisp acidity that keeps it interesting. The finish hangs around just long enough to make you want another glass. Good stuff for the price range.
Birthday treat that delivered
Bought this for my wife's birthday because she loves rosé Champagne and honestly it was a hit. Really fresh and lively with proper fruit flavours, not just fizzy pink wine. The bubbles are fine and it keeps you coming back for more. At £48.50 it's not cheap but for a celebration it felt worth every penny.
My new go-to for celebrations
I'm not massively into wine but I know what I like, and this is lovely. Pink Champagne that actually tastes like something rather than just being bubbly. There's a bit of complexity to it that surprised me at this price point. Had it at a hen do and everyone was asking what it was.
Nice but a stretch at this price
Had this at a friend's dinner party and it was pleasant enough. Smells gorgeous when you pour it, really inviting. Tastes good too, proper Champagne quality with some red fruit notes. But nearly fifty quid? I've had bottles at £35 that I enjoyed just as much.
