Farah Abboud VIPsAllowed - Birthday treat that delivered
9/10

Got this for my 40th and wow, it did not disappoint. Really crisp and clean but with proper depth to it — not just fizzy wine, you know? At £80 it's not cheap but for a special occasion it felt worth every penny.

Felix Moreau VIPsAllowed - Solid choice, needs time to breathe

First glass straight from the fridge I thought it was just ok, quite tight. Left it on the table for 20 mins and it was a completely different wine — way more expressive and interesting. Lesson learned. Decent at 12.5% too, doesn't hit you over the head.

Elena Morozova VIPsAllowed - Dinner party hero
8/10

Brought this to a friend's dinner party and everyone kept asking about it. It's one of those champagnes that gets better as it warms up a bit in the glass — started off fresh and zippy, then all this extra complexity came through. Went perfectly with the fish course and the cheese after.

I'm not usually one to spend this much on champagne but I saw Philippe Glavier recommended somewhere and took the plunge. So glad I did. There's real structure here, not just bubbles and fruit — it's got weight and a finish that sticks around. Already ordered another bottle.

Kai Oliveira VIPsAllowed - Nice but not life-changing
6/10

Had this at a restaurant and it was pleasant enough. Clean and well-made, sure, but I was expecting more fireworks at this price point. My partner loved it though so maybe it's just me. Would probably choose a good Crémant for everyday and save the £80 for something else.

Alex Ramos VIPsAllowed - Proper champagne, not just bubbles
8/10

The wine shop guy recommended this when I said I wanted something a step up from Moët. He was right — it's got this clarity and precision that makes you actually stop and pay attention. Served it slightly warmer than fridge-cold and it really opened up beautifully.

Natasha Volkov VIPsAllowed - Good but pushing it on price

Nice champagne, don't get me wrong. Clean finish, lovely acidity, proper Blanc de Blancs style. But at nearly £80 I've had bottles at £50 that get close to this. Would buy again on offer though.

Marco Andretti VIPsAllowed - Finally tried a grower champagne
8/10

Been reading about grower champagnes and picked this as my first one. The difference from the big brand stuff is pretty obvious — it actually tastes like something specific rather than just generic fizz. Clean, focused, and the acidity keeps you coming back for more. Starting to understand what the fuss is about.
