Perrier-Jouët Blanc de Blancs NV / Glass Set
Champagne 12.5% ABV ABV Perrier-JouëtThis is the one
I don't usually leave reviews but honestly this might be my favourite champagne I've ever had. So elegant and balanced, none of that heavy sweetness you get with some brands. Opened it for a dinner party and every single person commented on it. The finish just lingers perfectly.
Nice but bit steep
Had this at a friend's house and really enjoyed it so tracked down the glass set version. It's lovely — clean, fresh, proper champagne that doesn't try too hard. My only gripe is £93 is a lot when you can get perfectly good fizz for half that. That said, it is noticeably better than the cheaper stuff we usually drink.
Perfect for our anniversary dinner
Picked this up for our anniversary and it was gorgeous with the seafood starter. Really light and crisp with a sort of quiet elegance to it — not overpowering at all. The acidity cuts through richer food brilliantly. The glasses that come with it are beautiful too, made the whole thing feel extra special.
Solid champagne, great presentation
Got recommended this by the guy at our local wine shop when I said I wanted something a step up from Moët. It's definitely more refined — less sweet, more focused if that makes sense? The Chardonnay really comes through. Would buy again but probably only for celebrations at that price point.
Birthday treat that delivered
Bought this for my wife's 40th and we were both blown away. Really crisp and clean with lovely bubbles, and it just kept getting better the longer it sat in the glass. The gift set with the glasses was a nice touch too. Pricey at £93 but felt worth it for a special occasion.
