Palmer & Co Rose Solera Champagne: A Toast-Worthy Cuvee
Champagne 12% ABV ABV Palmer & CoBirthday treat that delivered
Bought this for my 40th and it was honestly the highlight of the night. Gorgeous pink colour, really creamy bubbles, and this amazing biscuity thing going on with a bit of apple. At £52 it's not cheap but for a special occasion it's worth every penny.
Perfect for our anniversary
Picked this up because I wanted a rosé champagne that wasn't just pink and sweet. This is the real deal — it's got depth to it, like candied orange peel and warm bread. The three grape blend really comes through. My wife loved it too which is the main thing!
Solid rosé champagne
The guy at my local wine shop recommended this when I said I wanted something a bit different from Moët. It's proper champagne — dry, with a lovely lemony finish that keeps you going back for more. The baked apple notes are real, not just marketing fluff. Would buy again but probably not every week at that price.
New favourite champagne
I don't usually leave reviews but this deserves one. Served it at a dinner party and every single person asked what it was. There's a nuttiness to it, almost like hazelnut, with this creamy fizz that just works. Already ordered another bottle.
Nice but a bit steep
Tried this at a friend's house and really liked it — lovely brioche smell and it's got a dry chalky finish that stops it being too sweet. My only gripe is £52 feels like a lot when you can get decent prosecco for a third of that. That said, it IS proper champagne and you can taste the difference.
