Pago de Tharsys Brut Nature Cava
Sparkling 12.5% ABV ABV Pago de TharsysSurprised by this one
The guy at my local wine shop recommended this and I'm glad he did. There's more going on than I expected for twelve quid — proper fruit flavours and a clean finish that keeps you coming back for another sip. Really pleasant.
Solid everyday Cava
Bought a couple bottles for a dinner party and everyone seemed to enjoy it. Nice bright acidity and it's properly dry which I prefer — no sweetness at all. Good honest Cava at a fair price.
Perfect for summer
Saw this on a list at a wine bar and ordered a bottle to take home. Really clean and fresh with nice acidity and proper fruit flavours coming through. Had it ice cold in the garden and it was spot on. Great value too.
Fine but nothing special
It's alright. Clean and refreshing enough but I wasn't blown away. For a couple quid more you can get a decent Prosecco that I'd probably enjoy more. Not bad though, just not my thing.
My new go-to fizz
Absolutely loved this. I'm not usually a Cava person but the Brut Nature style really works — bone dry with loads of fresh fruit character. At £12.25 it's a steal compared to Champagne and honestly not far off some bottles twice the price.
Bit too dry for me
I think this is probably good quality but it's very very dry. I prefer something with a touch more sweetness so the Brut Nature style wasn't really for me. My partner liked it though so maybe I'm the wrong audience.
Great value fizz
Picked this up for £12 and honestly really impressed. It's dry and crisp with proper fruit flavour, not just generic bubbles. Had it with some tapas and it disappeared fast — will definitely buy again.
Does the job
We had this at a friend's birthday and it was perfectly nice. Dry, bubbly, refreshing. Nothing wrong with it at all but it didn't make me go wow either. Decent Cava for the money.
