It's fine, nothing special
Decent enough port but I wasn't blown away. It's smooth and easy to drink, and the alcohol doesn't hit you in the face which is nice. But for a half bottle at nearly £13, I'd probably just spend a bit more and get a full bottle of something else.

Lovely little half bottle
Picked this up on a whim from Majestic and really glad I did. For under £13 you get a proper tawny port that actually tastes like it should — nutty, dried fruit, none of that cheap syrupy nonsense. Perfect size for two people after dinner with some stilton.

Christmas find!
Got this as a stocking filler and it was one of the best things I drank over the holidays. Really well balanced, not too sweet, and goes brilliantly with chocolate and nuts after a big meal. Already ordered a couple more half bottles for next time we have people round.

Surprised me honestly
I'm not usually a port person but bought this for a dinner party and ended up really enjoying it. There's actual depth to it, proper dried fruit and a bit of caramel, and it finishes really cleanly. The half bottle is a smart size too — enough for everyone to have a glass without committing to a full bottle.

Good weeknight port
The wine shop guy recommended this when I said I wanted something for after dinner that wasn't too heavy. He was right — it's lighter than most ports I've had and genuinely easy to drink. Not the most complex thing ever but it does the job well.

Solid tawny for the price
Niepoort know what they're doing with port so no surprises here. Nice balance between the sweetness and a bit of acidity that stops it being cloying. Would buy again but wouldn't necessarily go out of my way for it.
