Mumm Le Rose Champagne
Champagne 12.5% ABV ABV MummGreat with food
Had this alongside some salmon and it was a brilliant match. There's a real freshness to it that cuts through richer dishes, and those fine bubbles just keep on going. Mumm know what they're doing with this one.
New favourite for celebrations
Served this at a dinner party last weekend and every single person commented on it. The berry aromas hit you straight away when you pour it, and the acidity keeps everything balanced and refreshing. Already ordered another bottle.
Pretty good but not blown away
I'm relatively new to champagne beyond supermarket stuff, so take this with a pinch of salt. It's definitely nicer than what I usually drink — clean tasting with red fruit flavours I could actually pick out. At 12.5% it goes down easy too, maybe a bit too easy.
Birthday treat that delivered
Got this for my wife's birthday and we were both really impressed. The bubbles are so fine and delicate, and those red berry flavours are gorgeous without being sweet. At £51 it's not cheap but honestly felt worth it for a special occasion.
Nice but bit steep
It's good, don't get me wrong — lovely red fruit taste and proper clean finish. But £52 for a rosé champagne when there are decent ones for £35? Hard to justify unless you're celebrating something.
The wine shop guy was right
Bloke in my local recommended this when I said I wanted something pink and fizzy for an anniversary. He wasn't wrong — it's properly layered and interesting, not just pretty to look at. The finish lingers in a really pleasant way.
Solid rosé champagne
Picked this up after seeing it on a restaurant menu and wanting to try it at home. Really fresh and lively with a nice depth to it — more going on than I expected. Would definitely buy again for a dinner party.
