Tyler Bennet VIPsAllowed - Proper champagne taste
8/10

The guy at my local wine shop recommended this and he wasn't wrong. You get that lovely brioche-y smell when you pour it, and it's got a really clean citrusy finish that keeps you going back for more. Great with some cheese and crackers on a Friday night.

Saw this on a restaurant menu and decided to try a bottle from the shop instead. It's refreshing with a nice mineral edge and some green apple notes. Tastes good but I'm not 100% convinced it's worth the premium over something like a crémant. Would happily drink it again if someone else was buying though!

Bought this for my partner's birthday and we both loved it. Really nice toasty, biscuity thing going on with fresh apple flavours — genuinely impressive for a non-vintage champagne. At around £36 it's not cheap but it feels worth it for special occasions.

I keep coming back to Mumm whenever I need a bottle for something. It's got layers to it — peachy fruit, a bit of apple, and that toasty quality that makes it feel like proper champagne rather than just fizzy wine. The finish lingers nicely too. Solid choice around the £36 mark.

Had this at a friend's dinner party and it was perfectly nice. Crisp and lemony with a bit of creaminess to it. I enjoyed it but honestly not sure I'd pick it over a decent prosecco at half the price for everyday drinking.
