Daisy Miller VIPsAllowed - Solid Champagne, needed food though
7/10

Tried this on its own first and thought it was a bit much honestly — quite intense and structured for just sipping. Then we had it with dinner and it made way more sense. Not really a casual glass-on-the-sofa Champagne, more of a sit-down-meal one. Good quality though, no question.

Aiko Tanaka VIPsAllowed - Birthday treat that delivered
9/10

Bought this for my 40th and wow, it really lived up to the hype. There's proper depth to it — not just fizz and nothing else like a lot of Champagne I've had. The finish goes on forever in the best way. At £55 it's not cheap but for a special occasion it's absolutely worth it.

Adaobi Eze VIPsAllowed - Grower Champagne convert
8/10

Been reading about grower Champagnes and picked this up to see what the fuss is about. It's genuinely different from the big brand stuff — way more complex and interesting. Had it with some roast chicken and it worked brilliantly. Starting to understand why people get obsessed with these smaller producers.

Daniel Oyama VIPsAllowed - A step up from the usual
8/10

The guy at my local wine shop talked me into this over my usual Champagne and I'm glad he did. You can tell straight away it smells more interesting — really bold and confident, not subtle at all. It's got layers to it that keep you going back for another sip. Will definitely buy again for Christmas.

Ryan Mitchell VIPsAllowed - Knocked everyone's socks off
9/10

Brought this to a dinner party instead of the usual Moët and everyone wanted to know what it was. Really expressive and punchy from the first pour, and it kept getting better as it opened up. Grand Cru on the label isn't just for show with this one. Already ordered more.

Tariq Hassan VIPsAllowed - Good but bit pricey for what it is
7/10

Had this at a friend's dinner party and it was nice, don't get me wrong. Good acidity, clean finish, all that. But at nearly £55 a bottle I think you can find similar quality for less. I'd probably grab it on offer but wouldn't pay full whack again.
