Moet & Chandon Rose Imperial Champagne / Jeroboam: A Toast-Worthy Cuvee
Champagne 12% ABV ABV Moet & ChandonSmooth and easy to drink
I'm not a massive wine person but someone recommended this for our anniversary. Really smooth and not too dry — I could taste like apricot and some bready flavours? The acidity keeps it from being too heavy which I liked. Went down very easily, maybe too easily for the price ha.
Stole the show at dinner
Brought this to a dinner party and everyone lost their minds when I pulled out the massive bottle. Tasted amazing too — creamy and fruity with a really long finish that keeps you going back for more. The rosé colour is gorgeous in the glass. Felt like a proper occasion.
The Jeroboam is a game changer
I've had the regular Moet Rosé loads of times but something about the Jeroboam just hits different. The flavours seem deeper and more complex — pastry cream, stone fruit, chalky finish that goes on and on. Shared it between eight of us at Christmas and it was the highlight of the whole meal.
Great champagne, hard to justify the cost
Had this at a friend's New Year's party and it's genuinely delicious. You get that bread-y richness but it stays fresh and zingy at the same time. My only gripe is the price — over £500 is a lot even for a big bottle. I'd buy a regular size if they do one.
Saw it on a menu and had to try it
Spotted this at a fancy restaurant and split it with the table. Really elegant stuff — you get that fresh citrus zest alongside the richer toasty notes and it all just works together. The Pinot Noir and Meunier blend gives it proper depth. Would absolutely have it again if someone else is paying.
Worth every penny for our wedding
We got the Jeroboam for our wedding toast and it was absolutely spectacular. The bubbles just keep going and the taste is like biting into a really good pastry with some lemony zing. At £514 it's not cheap but for a once-in-a-lifetime moment it was perfect. Everyone was talking about it.
Birthday treat that delivered
My wife got me this for my 50th and honestly I was a bit nervous about the price tag. But wow, the flavour is incredible — really toasty with this lovely stone fruit thing going on. The finish just lingers forever. If you're celebrating something big, this is the one.
Bit pricey for what it is
Look it's nice champagne, no question. Lemony and toasty with decent fizz. But I've had Pinot Noir champagnes at a third of this price that weren't far off. You're paying a lot for the Moet name and the big bottle format here. Good but not five-hundred-quid good.
