Solid rosé champagne

The wine shop guy recommended this when I said I wanted something a bit special for my wife's promotion dinner. Does the job well — bubbly, fruity, looks great in the glass. The finish sticks around nicely too. She loved it so mission accomplished.

My favourite champagne right now

I keep coming back to this one. The strawberry and redcurrant on the nose is just beautiful and it drinks so smoothly at 12.5%. Yes the half bottle isn't cheap but sometimes you just want a couple of glasses of something really good without opening a full bottle that goes flat. Worth every penny for me.

Birthday treat that delivered

Got this as a birthday present and glad I saved it for a proper occasion. There's a real depth to it that surprised me — not just fizzy pink wine, actually has layers to it. The wild strawberry notes are gorgeous. Felt fancy drinking it, which is kind of the point isn't it?

Good with food actually

Had this with salmon at a restaurant and it worked really well together. The acidity cuts through richer food nicely. Ordered it because I'd seen it on a few menus and figured it was time to try it. Wouldn't say it's life-changing but it's a reliable choice when you want rosé champagne.

Expected more honestly

Maybe I had my hopes too high because it's Moet, but this didn't blow me away. It's pleasant enough, nice red fruit flavours and all that, but for what you're paying per ml it should be doing more. My mate brought a £20 prosecco rosé to the same party and honestly most people preferred that.

Half bottle is underrated

Don't usually go for half bottles but this was perfect for a Tuesday night when I just fancied something nice. Really liked the berry flavours and there's a subtle mineral thing at the end that keeps it interesting. At £34.50 it's a treat not an everyday thing, but that's fine — treats should feel like treats.

Nice but pricey for a half

It's good champagne, no question. You get that redcurrant and berry thing going on and it finishes really clean. But £34.50 for a half bottle is steep — I'd want a full bottle for that money. Would buy again on a special occasion though.

Perfect half bottle for two

Picked this up for a date night and it was spot on. Lovely strawberry smell when you pop it open, and it's got this crispness that keeps you coming back for another sip. Half bottle is ideal when you don't want to commit to a full one at this price point.
