Moet & Chandon Rose Imperial Champagne / Gift Box
Champagne 12.5% ABV ABV Moet & ChandonGreat summer garden drink
The wine shop guy recommended this when I said I wanted a rosé champagne for a barbecue. Really glad he did. It's fruity without being sweet, and there's a nice bit of acidity that cuts through richer food. We had it with burgers and it worked surprisingly well.
My go-to celebration champagne now
I keep coming back to this one. The summer berry smell hits you straight away and the taste has more going on than I expected from a big brand. Creamy bubbles, balanced, and that mineral thing at the end is subtle but makes you want another sip. Gift box is a nice touch too.
Nice but is it worth the price?
Had this at a friend's birthday and it was definitely tasty — fresh red berries, clean finish, all that. But honestly for nearly £60 I'd probably just grab a decent prosecco most of the time. Would I turn it down? Absolutely not. Would I buy it myself regularly? Probably not.
Solid rosé champagne, nothing wild
Picked this up for a dinner party because I recognised the name. It's good — fruity, well balanced, decent fizz. Does what it says on the tin really. I just feel like at this price point there might be smaller producers doing something more interesting. Still went down well with everyone though.
Perfect anniversary bubbles
Bought this for our anniversary and it was a hit. The berry flavours are really noticeable and it's got this lovely creamy fizz that doesn't feel too heavy. At sixty quid it's not cheap but it feels properly special, and the gift box made it easy to wrap.
